This photograph of an old gated door has been edited to resemble a daguerreotype print. A daguerreotype was one of the earliest photographic process that was very labour intensive, involved highly toxic chemicals, and took several minutes of exposure time for the silver plate to take an image and yet the photographic resolution was well beyond any common process used today.

The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
