Garden in Montmartre with lovers by Vincent van Gogh Tuin in Montmartre met geliefden 1887 This sun-drenched view of a park is one of the largest canvases van Gogh ever produced in Paris. It is also an example of the pointillist painting technique that pre-occupied him at this time. However, rather than the dots used by Pointillists, van Gogh instead employed loose little paint stripes. He applied the paint in different directions and thicknesses, whereby each element—the air, vegetation and the figures—acquires its own particular texture.

Hi, this photo-poster is now located on my refrigerator. I thought it was going to be a poster-size poster because I don't understand the metric measurements that are posted on the website. It turned out to be the size of a photo and now has a place of honour on my fridge. Was originally intended for a friend, but I thought it applied to me too: "World's Best Cat Mom"! There a lot of us out there! The printing was excellent -- vivid colour; sharp contrast.
