Yes, my classical associates ...forensics do not lie, and regretfully, we must acknowledge it: Beethoven was not deaf. Incontovertible biological evidence, coupled with telling, previously misinterpreted conversation book extracts like "Ha! What a charade this is! I've been able to hear perfectly well all along" paint a motley tone poem of conscious deception.
