fun realist painting of retro makeup

This original watercolor artwork is Simply called “The make Up Bag” because that’s exactly what it is. I couldn’t resist painting the picture when I saw all my well used and well worn out make up just spilling out of the floral make up bag. The make up looked a bit on the grubby side but I thought it would be a good record of that time in my life, funny how each piece of make has a little memory to it. So, from the tatty piece of cotton wool to the powder compact and eyeshadow, everything was used by me, that lipstick was soooooo red! I think this art card will make a great send for the ladies who, just like me, have a make up bag overflowing with pieces of “just in case” make up, it’s also makes a special card for anyone who likes original still life paintings. The still life painting on this blank art card is set against a neutral background.
