The basis for this piece is a scene from the movie, "South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut". In the scene, the children of South Park are organizing a club called 'Viva la Resistance', & as they are printing out invitations for their pilot meeting, they add the text, "... punch & pie" to the bottom of the invitation. "More people will come if you tell them there will be punch & pie!" I've always dreamed of hosting a punch & pie party in a blossoming home garden on a warm & slightly breezy summer day. Maybe this year is the year. Who would you invite to your punch & pie party?
