On one side, the image of St. Benedict; on the other side the Cross of St. Benedict. It is my own original rendering of the "Jubilee" version of the Medal of St. Benedict, a version newly designed in 1880 under the supervision of the monks of the Benedictine monastery of Montecassino, Italy, to mark the 1400th anniversary of the birth of St. Benedict.
