From the Rind to the Seed Palestine will be Free! Ceramic Ornament

From the song Hind's Hall 2 by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, featuring feat. Anees, MC Abdul, & Amer Zahr. Anees says, "If I'm not allowed to say, 'From the River to the Sea,' then 'From the Rind to the Seed, Palestine will be Free!'" This line is immensely powerful for Palestinians, once again showing that the Palestinian people are not only brilliant but creative. When it became illegal for the Palestinians to wave their flag, they came up with the watermelon to symbolize Palestine due to the red, green, black, and white within the watermelon. When it became "wrong" to say, "From the River to the Sea," Anees poetically came up with, "From the rind to the seed, Palestine will be free!" This is a design that I came up with to honour the poetic words of Anees.
