Frog in the Pond - Coffee Mug

Frogs are my favorite animal (it's probably Kermit's fault). In one of my recent art classes, a student and I explored how to create a feeling of movement in art and we had a go at interpreting a photo of a frog using watercolour paints - trying to capture the movement of the water. This is my attempt - which I have named 'Frog in the Pond' (after the dessert my Grandma used to make from green jelly, a chocolate frog and other sweet treats).

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
