French Village Bakery Throw Pillow

The flavour of France is captured in the original photograph by ZoeSPEAK on this 16” Throw Pillow. Taken in the town of Hourtin, in the wine country of the Medoc, the photo shows the village bakery in the afternoon sun. The shadow of an old fashioned street lamp stretches across the sidewalk onto the wall below the display window. Over the window is a striped awning with the words "PATISSERIE" AND "PAIN" ("pastry" and "bread"), and a bold red stripe across the cream coloured building. An old circus poster and a placard for ice cream bars add colour to the scene. Leafy green vines climb over the stone wall on the side of the shop, throwing their shadows across the walls. The scene is set against a blue sky. The photo was taken in 2002. The back of the pillow is a neutral tone, a dark beige picking up the tones from the photo. This can be changed to another colour if you prefer.
