A note written in French script by Napoleon Bonaparte's belle soeur, or sister-in-law, Alexandrine Lucien Bonaparte, princess of Canino. She married Lucien Bonaparte against Napoleon's wishes, and she and her family were forbidden to leave Italy for the rest of their life. Her strong friendship with Pope Pius VII, who was also disliked by Napoleon, granted her and her husband the titles Prince and Princess of Carino. Use for decoupage and papercrafts.
