Frederick Carl Frieseke "Under the Alder Tree" Poster

Frieseke is best known for his pictures of women in interiors and women in gardens, and this is a supreme example: dappled sunlight, flowers, bright colours, the lovely smiling face of his wife Sadie, and her relaxed pose. Frieseke was one of the Giverny American Impressionists who gathered around Monet, although he claimed to be influenced more by Renoir. Available as a fine art print.
