Frederic Remington's The Night Herder (circa 1908) Letterhead

A classic artwork that has passed into the public domain and makes wonderful gifts and other products. A man seated on his horse, watching the herd off in the darkness. There is very little detail in this image, which contrasts it with much of his work. Remington was the foremost illustrator, painter, and sculptor of the American West at the close of the frontier era, at the end of the 19th century. His sculptures of cowboys are iconic, and his painting of cowboys, Indians, soldiers and frontiersmen were highly popular during his lifetime and have only become more so in the century since. I think the letterhead is adorable. The envelopes included with the letterhead are unusable. The envelopes are the same size as the letterhead. They require extra postage vs. folding the letterhead and putting in a regular #10 envelope.
