Franz Marc - The Blue Rider - Horses Poster

The German military recognized how important the art of Franz Marc would be and issued orders to remove him from military service during World War I. Marc was killed in battle before the order was executed, but many of his wonderful expressionist works now hang in museums and other collections. He is considered one of the most important artists of the German expressionist movement, and he was a founding member of the art journal Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider). He painted this image of horses, also called "The Blue Rider"" in 1913.

Poster is printed clearly, good quality . Inclusive of many prints . The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
