Reconnect with Italian Catholic friar Francis of Assisi, lovingly known to friends as Francesco. A humble soul who found solace amongst the poor and treated saw divinity within the creatures of the earth, who he deemed his brother and sister souls. Saint Francis seemed to interpret 'Dominion over animals' unlike most, seeing this as a charge to safeguard the wonderful creatures he would meet in the wild. His spirit was earthly and terrestrial, grounded in humility and selflessness.
