Two Four-Eyed Knots
The design was created with reference to 'Kamon Hyakuwashi (Vol. 2)' by Kiiji Niwa (May 4, 2013). The book describes the family crests of the 47 Ronin of Ako, and states that the crests of Yasubei Horibe and Yabei Horibe are this design. It is said to be based on 'Akogishi Jitsusanh' by Shigeru Saito. The 'Two Four-Eyed Knots' in the book is of poor image quality and may resemble a nail-pulling crest. Since it is not included in any other crest book, my interpretation is largely reflected in this design, so there may be some minor errors in the details.
