Four-petal Hanabishi crest Watch

Hanabishi crest. The 'Koraiya' is the yagō (stage name) of Matsumoto Koshirō. Originally, it is a family line of Ichikawa Danjūrō's disciples, but when Danjūrō has no heir, it is common for Koraiya to adopt a son to succeed the Ichikawa family. Notable family members include Ichikawa Somegorō and Ichikawa Kintarō. (From 'Family Crests and Names' by Takarajima-sha). Compared to the usual 'Four-petal Hanabishi', the interval between adjacent Hanabishi is wider in 'Heian Monkan', but the same interval is used in 'Mon no Izumi' and 'Edo Monshō-shū'. This design is based on 'Heian Monkan'.
