Four-petal Hanabishi

The crest used by the Koraiya, the yagō of Matsumoto Koshirō family. Although it is originally used by the family line of Ichikawa Danjūrō, when Danjūrō has no heir, it is often the case that the heir is adopted from the Koraiya family. Notable family members include Ichikawa Somegorō and Ichikawa Kintarō. (from Takarajimasha 'Family Crests and Surnames'). Compared to the usual 'Four-petal Hanabishi', the interval between adjacent Hanabishi is wider in 'Heian Monkan', but the same interval is used in 'Mon no Izumi' and 'Edo Monshōshū'. This design is based on 'Heian Monkan'.
