Fork-tailed Devil P-38 Lightning Coffee Mug

The P-38 Lightning was known by the German Luftwaffe pilots as the "Fork-Tailed Devil" due to its unique design. Many of the fighter squadrons during WWII had their own unique insignia, often designed by the men in their squads. This design was used by the 49th Fighter Squadron in Foggia, Italy. It is a colourful cartoon of a P-38 with fork-tailed devil in green and P-38 Lightning in red. Buying this product is a perfect way to show your support of the P-38 Association and our mission to keep alive the memory of the P-38 Lightning, the plane that changed the course of history by shooting down Admiral Yamamoto's plane which helped to end WWII.
