Forgiveness is Divine Greeting Card

This is a photo collage about forgiving yourself and others for the mistakes of the past. For me, I found it easy to forgive others for mistakes they had made but very difficult to forgive myself for any time I had hurt another person. I made this collage meditating on forgiveness because I found that it was necessary to move forward in my life's ambitions. If I stayed angry at myself I would not be able to understand that we are all trying to the best that we can with what we know in the present. It can take some time to get to a place where we no longer hurt others or ourselves. It takes compassion, patience, understanding and kindness to forgive. I hope this image will help you work through this important step in self healing, as it did for me. This design was placed onto a 36 x 24 inch poster sheet. If you would like it on a different paper type or size, it is customizable to fit the format of your choice. The components of this artwork were photographed in Nara and Kamakura, Japan and assembled using Adobe Photoshop software.
