Flying Steampunk Car Postcard

This is an amazing image! A vintage car with a fish tail and a corkscrew front is flying through the air above a French city. The unique conveyance is held in the air by a set of fabulous, leathery wings. The driver, an elegant gentleman, is steering his way through an airspace shared with a bicycle with butterfly wings. The image was taken from a trade card for the French department store, Bon Marche, still in existence today. Bon Marche was the first real department store and it enjoyed enormous success and utilized many innovative marketing techniques.
