Flowering Trees | Kolo Moser

Flowering Trees (1911) by Koloman Moser (1868–1918) celebrates the fresh beauty of spring through a richly coloured garden scene. Moser captures the natural forms of flowering trees and plants with expressive brushwork, luminous colours, and a thoughtful balance between organic shapes and decorative structure. His paintings from this period reveal a growing interest in nature as a subject, moving beyond the geometric designs and graphic work for which he was widely known. Influenced by the artistic spirit of the Vienna Secession, Moser brings a modern decorative sensibility to the landscape, blending vibrant colour, simplified forms, and an almost ornamental approach to composition. The result is a charming celebration of springtime, flowering branches, and the beauty of the natural world. Use the design tools to add custom text or personalize the image.
