The Flåm Railway, or Flåmsbana, is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful and dramatic train journeys in the world. Along the way, the train navigates a impossibly steep 5.5% gradient, twists through 20 tunnels (18 of which were built by hand), and crosses countless bridges, making it a thrilling ride.
