Flag of Malawi Tie

This design features the national flag of Malawi (officially known as the Republic of Malawi), which is a landlocked country in southeastern Africa that was formerly known as Nyasaland. Malawi is bordered by Zambia to the west; Tanzania to the north and northeast; and Mozambique on the east, south and southwest. Lake Malawi, also known as Lake Nyasa, takes up about a third of Malawi's area. The capital city of Malawi is Lilongwe, which is also the country's largest city. Other major cities in Malawi include Blantyre, Mzuzu, Zomba, Karonga, Kasungu, Mangochi, Salima, Liwonde and Balaka.
