This design features the flag of Guatemala (officially known as the Republic of Guatemala), which is a country in Central America. Guatemala is bordered by Mexico to the north and west, Belize and the Caribbean to the northeast, Honduras to the east, El Salvador to the southeast and the Pacific Ocean to the south. Guatemala is the most populous country in Central America. The capital city of Guatemala is Nueva Guatemala de la Asunción, which is also known as Guatemala City.
