Fivia is part of Roman Portrait Series, inspired by roman portraiture naturalism. Although we may identify many periods during roman history, undoubtely the common denominator has been a persistance of portraying rather than a stylized ideal a more intimate nature of its endless dignitaries. Fivia is a reflection of Flavian archetype, expressing the serenity of civilization. At close observation we observe delineations of mesoamerican figures. Totemic icons who are somehow in unison with a view of world dominance. This delineations were achieved with arabic gum, where later on Lithoteen-Tusche washes were over drawn.
