On December 6, 1969 an estimated 300,000 people gathered at the Altamont Speedway in Alameda County for an all-day music festival. Colourful design represents the sun-kissed rolling hills of Altamont Pass, a rural area between Livermore and Tracy, California. "Altamont," accented with a sixties peace sign, appears above.
