The sunflower is named after its huge, fiery blooms, whose shape and image are often used to depict the sun. While vibrant and strong the sunflower is recognized world wide for it's beauty. Sunflower is one of the few crop species that originated in North America. It was probably a "camp follower" of several of the western native American tribes who domesticated the crop (possibly 1000 BC) and then carried it eastward and southward of North America. The first Europeans observed sunflower cultivated in many places from southern Canada to Mexico.

Love the fabric and the vibrant colours. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the pillows were slightly smaller than 41 x 41 cm. I was disappointed with that. The printing turned out excellent!
