This work of art is from an original oil painting entitled "Femme Fauve" by Zermeno. Zermeno is an international artist who has lived and exhibited in Paris. Influenced by some of the important art movements through out Germany and France including the Impressionists, the Expressionists, and the Fauves, his artwork reflects the influence of Van Gogh, Matisse, Cezanne Modigliani, and Toulouse-Lautrec as well as other Masters of Modern art. This work of art has beautiful vibrant colours typical of these art movements in Europe and is made very affordable and accessible for everyone. I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
