Feathers and Velvet Evening Bag Binder

The fold over flap of the bag looks like antique fabric, rich dark brown velvet rippled at the edges with fraying gold trim. Over the velvet are wings of feathers in sheer white with pale hues of browns and blues. The feathers come from an original photograph of a wood stork. The background under the flap is cocoa brown with flecks of lighter tones. There is a vertical row of gold beads down the centre of the flap with a golden flower shaped closure. The beads appear to be pulling down the top of the bag, revealing the evening blue behind it. In the centre of the flower closure is a monogram in fine black type.
