Father Time Mug: This vintage art is Father Time by Edmund Dulac circa 1906. It depicts Father Time as a kindly old wizard/alchemist with reading glasses looking forward rather owlishly thru a crystal ball at baby New Years portrayed as a young girl. A cluttered laboratory with all manor of books, papers and other assorted equipment can be seen including a winged hour glass and the elixir of peace, financial extract, and good luck in tiny magical bottles on his desk. Quite a bit of interesting details in this artwork.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
