Boo, hiss if you're long-term unemployed. Elders are maliciously persecuted by wall-to-wall ageism. So for them, I'll edit a resume & cvr ltr w/o charge. But every1 else--get off my back! Your friends are the ones who should be happy that you're making freelance $--yet, they're the 1st to demand a freebie. For the 18 resumes I've edited for free in past 5 yrs, I've gotten 0 thank-you cards/notes [betimes, an effortless "thanx" via e-mail~~which is insulting & violates e-mail etiquette. Only RSVPs can be fwd’d via e-mail...invites & thank you's must be sent via snailmail. Make an effort for some1 who slaved over your CV. I've rec'd 0 invites to tea, drinks, lunch/brunch or dinner as gratitude. I've gotten 0 bottles of booze, plants, edible-fruit baskets or no other forms of appreciation. Similar verbiage is on iPhone & iPad covers, mousepad, T-shirt, tie, apron, tote bag, mug, keychain, card, hat, buttons, infant & animal wear. I must be among millions who need to hand out this card...thanx tons Tattoo_Time!
