Falls of Saint Anthony by Henry Lewis Poster
Henry Lewis was one of the first explorers who began to travel the upper Mississippi River in the mid-nineteenth century to admire the exuberance of its cataracts. In summer 1847 this painter of English origin established in Saint Louis paid his first trip along this fast-flowing river in a steamboat from Fort Snelling and the Falls of Saint Anthony to New Orleans, making abundant sketches. The following winter he completed a large number of views of the river at his Saint Louis studio, among them the Falls of Saint Anthony, Upper Mississippi in the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection.

I love this calendar! The colors are rich and beautiful and the weight of the paper is perfect. It's not too thin. I hung it with a bit of double-sided tape and it lays flat to the wall. It looks great in my kitchen. It's perfect. The printing is bright and the colors are perfect.

I was given a small budget to decorate a free clinic. I ordered many of the posters from Zazzle because I could select various sizes that fit frames we could re-purpose. The quality of the printing is fine and there's a wide selection of subjects and styles to choose from. The paper quality on most of the items I ordered was decent. For some reason, though, the Ibis poster on "Perfect Poster (Glossy Finish)" is on very flimsy paper. It'll look fine when framed, but I would upgrade the paper choice if I did this over again. The image quality, colors, and printing quality were fine -exactly what I expected.
