Fall Over Clearwater River Idaho Keychain

The Clearwater River is in north central Idaho. It flows westward from the Bitterroot Mountains along the Idaho-Montana border, and joins the Snake River at Lewiston. The Clearwater River is the largest tributary of the Snake River. There is a bit of history to the Clearwater River – In October, the fall of 1805, the Lewis and Clark Expedition went downstream on the Clearwater River in dugout canoes, arriving at “Canoe Camp” five miles downstream from Orofino. Approximately six weeks later they reached the Columbia Bar and the Pacific Ocean.
