Happy Autumn! Beautiful orange, red, yellow and gold leaves adorn this sugar maple tree in Quebec, Canada. Maple trees create some spectacular colours as the weather cools down and harvest time comes around. This picture was taken in early October. The tree is deciduous and sheds its leaves for winter. It stops producing chlorophyll, which creates the green colour, while the leaves are still on the tree. Soon the leaves will fall down and you can jump in leaf piles!
