Fairy Land Castle Edmund Dulac Fine Art Throw Pillow

This beautiful vintage illustration was painted by french artist, Edmund Dulac, for a poem by American poet and literary critic, Edgar Allan Poe, called "Fairy-Land". In the poem, fairies come out in the moonlight and flutter about the land. Edmund Dulac was a well known French book illustrator during the early 1900's. He illustrated for fairytale books and literature books. He became a naturalized British citizen in 1912. Later in his life his career expanded into other areas like portraiture, costume and set design, bookplates, chocolate boxes, medals, graphic arts, and even British postage stamps.
