Fairies and Birds in a Garden, Postcard

A vintage illustration of fairies and birds in a garden. One fairy is flying through the air tethered to a butterfly. Another surprised fairy is dressed as a flower while a bird in a red vest perches on her head. Another bird is sporting a blue hat and ascot. The English artist, Florence Mary Anderson (1874-1930) also illustrated under her maiden name Molly MacArthur or Florence Mary MacArthur. She was a book illustrator, wood engraver and children’s author. Her work was influenced by the British School of Fairy Art.
