Fairbanks Morse Diesel Locomotives 1957 Poster

Fairbanks Morse Diesel Locomotives 1957 Poster

From www.railphotoexpress.biz; Fairbanks Morse Opposed Piston Diesel Motive Power for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1957' Fairbanks Morse and Company was an American manufacturing company in the late 19th and early 20th century. Originally a weighing scale manufacturer, it later diversified into pumps, engines, windmills, coffee grinders, farm tractors, feed mills, locomotives and industrial supplies until it was merged in 1958. It used the trade name Fairbanks-Morse. In 1944 F-M began production of its own 1,000 hp (750 kW) yard switcher, the H-10-44. Milwaukee Road #760 (originally delivered as #1802), the first Fairbanks Morse locomotive constructed in their own plant, is now preserved in operating condition at the Illinois Railway Museum. Fairbanks Morse and Company, like other locomotive producers, was subject to wartime restrictions regarding the number and type of railroad related products it could manufacture. After World War II, North American railways began phasing out their aging steam locomotives and sought to replace them with diesel locomotives.

My Bible verse postcard, turned out excellent. I love it and have it already framed. It was so reasonably priced for something done so well. Thank you to Zazzle and the artist! I thought it looked exactly like what I ordered. Perfect.

Poster is printed clearly, good quality . Inclusive of many prints . The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown

I am a fan of Ravens and needed to have a poster of my favourite bird. The image quality is sharp.
