EYES ON THE PRIZE Poster

I took this photograph during an Eagle feeding frenzy in the Comox Valley here on Vancouver Island. As you can see when zoomed in, a mature Bald Eagle is in pursuit of a juvenile Eagle that is clutching a portion of newly acquired Salmon. The mature Eagle has his eyes firmly on the prize, in this case being the unfortunate fish morsel. A bout of obstinate talon-locking took place soon after, with both Eagles tumbling downwards in an impressive aerobatic display, struggling for possession of the aforementioned Salmon portion. The outcome? Mature Eagles = 1 Juvenile Eagles = Nil.
