TEXT: "Excuse This House – Some houses try to hide the fact that children shelter there; Ours boasts of it quite openly, the signs are everywhere. For smears are on the windows, little smudges on the doors. I should apologize I guess for toys strewn on the floors. But I sat down with the children and we played and laughed and read, And if the doorbell doesn't shine their eyes will shine instead. For when at times I'm forced to choose the one job of the other, Iwant to be a housewife, but first I'll be a mother." COLOR PALETTE: tan, soft white, blue, green and pink. DESIGN STYLE: A delightful cottage house with shutters and gables is in the background with a baseball bat, mitt and ball on the lawn and a little doll laying near the garden flowers. The text has been hand calligraphied by Audrey Jeanne Roberts and the entire design is an original hand watercolored painting. First offered in our "Audrey Jeanne's Expressions" line of sentiment gift products it's been updated with today's colours. A "matte" of hand water coloured stripes and an inner "mat" of matching colours finishes of the design.
