This product features colour plate 93 illustrating Mycetozoa (a grouping of slime molds) from Haeckel's ''Kunstformen der Natur'' (1904). Ernst Haeckel was a German biologist, naturalist, philosopher, physician, professor and artist. He discovered, described and named thousands of new species. His art has lasted many many years and includes some of the most beautiful pieces of work I have ever seen.
