END OF THE TRAIL GLASS COASTER
END OF THE TRAIL----James Earle Fraser (November 4, 1876 – October 11, 1953) was an American sculptor during the first half of the 20th century. His work is integral to many of Washington, D.C.'s most iconic structures---The End of the Trail is a sculpture by James Earle Fraser located in Waupun, Wisconsin, United States. It depicts a Native American man hanging limp as his horse comes to the edge of the Pacific Ocean.[1] The statue is a commentary on the damage Euro-American settlement inflicted upon Native Americans. The main figure embodies the suffering and exhaustion of people driven from their native lands-----BACKGROUND IS SUNRISE ON THE BEACH NEAR CAPE HATTERAS LIGHTHOUSE AT BUXTON, NORTH CAROLINA.

Very nice glass coaster. A great personalized birthday gift for the Edmonton Oilers super fan.
I only wish the glass was thicker as it appears in the photos. Hope it hold up..
