E is for Emerald Tree Boa. Commonly known as the ETB (Corralus caninus), Emerald Tree Boas are native to South America, and usually grow to 6 feet, although some larger locality boas can grow to 9 feet! ETB's have a reputation for being an agressive and difficult species to keep, and are more of a display snake. ETB's have larger teeth than most non-venomous snakes, and are prepared to use them to defend themselves. They are a high humidity species, and require branches or a perch to sit on, as they will spend much of their time there.
