The towel is good-sized, soft, and washes well. It dries quickly which is perfect for a kitchen towel. Because of the beautiful art, I use this in my kitchen and also bought several as gifts to put in a picnic basket and in gift baskets. The artwork exceeds my expectations! The artists use of vibrant, rich colors - blue, turquoise, emerald, gold, - and the unbelievable details in the jeweled, trailing tail feathers create a bold amazing display for this beautiful peacock! I was actually surprised by the quality. The material feels like it can handle the wash and the print seems to be set deep in the fibers. BUT I have not washed it yet. The printing was accurate and looks like it can handle washing.
