Elegant Skull (Calavera Catrina) (Dapper Skeleton) Watch

This design features an etching by the Mexican printmaker and illustrator José Guadalupe Posada (1852–1913). It shows a jovial skeleton wearing an elegant hat festooned with flowers. The Dapper Skeleton [La Calavera Catrina] is now commonly seen in celebrations of Day of the Dead [Día de Muertos] in Mexico. It is a symbol of the importance of celebrating both life and death.
