The watch looks exactly as depicted. I was especially pleased with the watch band, which is a nice quality, supple leather. I point this out because an option, which was sold out, was with a multi-colored but clearly plastic band. This is the better choice, in my view.
Because it is a gift, i haven't had the opportunity to verify how well it keeps time. the watch appeared exactly as decribed. I say exactly because, by chance, my daughter's name is the same as the picture (!), so it was easy to know what to expect.
