One of the last motors worked on at Rampersad's General Electrical Engineering, established in 1936 in Trinidad and Tobago, and closed in 2010. It was where many U.S. Navy motors were repaired when the base was at Chaguramas. Changing times and disposable motors made the business no longer viable in a shrinking market.
