Eggenberg Palace Austria Postcard
Eggenberg Palace (Schloss Eggenberg) is the most significant Baroque palace complex in the Austrian province of Styria and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 17th century for the Eggenberg family, it was designed to reflect cosmic order through its architectural symmetry, symbolic rooms, and ornate decoration.
Today, the palace is part of the Universalmuseum Joanneum and attracts visitors for its grand state rooms, planetary symbolism, and beautifully preserved gardens. The surrounding park and peacock inhabitants add to its historic and serene atmosphere just outside central Graz.
