Edward VI (1537–1553), When Duke of Cornwall Poster

Edward, the sole authentic child of Henry VIII, was brought into the world on October 12, 1537 and delegated Edward VI in 1547. This picture shows the future lord at age six, when he was as yet the Duke of Cornwall. It was consequently adjusted in ensemble to mirror Edward's height at the hour of his royal celebration. The roundel design and the sitter's profile present summon the money of old style vestige, respected at the Tudor court. The board was once viewed as a signature work by Holbein.
