The design features 3 great big beautiful trout: the Brook Trout, salvelinus fontinalis; the Rainbow Trout, oncorhynchus mykiss; and, the Brown Trout, salmo trutta. Around the edges of the blanket are the repeated words: EAT SLEEP FISH. The background is dark green, but the blanket is also available in other colors, too. The pictures of the trout are from Doug's original watercolor paintings. This blanket is a one-of-a-kind! Makes a fabulous fishing gift for him or for her for Christmas, Birthday, Father's Day, Mother's Day, Retirement or ANY day of the year! I absolutely love it. It is amazing, and warm, and soft, softer I would have ever expected, it does not look cheap at all, it is just the best blanket ever, I love wrapping my self in it.
