The beautiful Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly. Papilio Glaucus. With their large yellow wings, with 5 black ‘Tiger stripes’ on each wing. Black trim around wings. And curled antenna. They are one of the most beautiful, Butterflies! Males are yellow, females too, but with blue spots on their hind wings. Females lay their eggs on magnolia plants, rose plants, tulip, wild cherry, and others. The eggs are green. Caterpillars are brown and white.
